Day 3: Mastering the Padel Game – Intermediate Level
Welcome to the third and final day of our Intensive Padel Training at the Intermediate Padel Level. Here’s a detailed breakdown of your training schedule:
Morning Session (09:00 – 11:00):
- Physical Warm-up (5 minutes): Cardiovascular exercises to activate the specific muscles needed for Padel without the ball.
- Ball Warm-up (10 minutes): Engage in parallel and cross-court rallies, volley against a volley, cross-court rallies, and cross-court rallies with low balls and lobs.
- Service and Return of Service Technique (30 minutes): Delve into the technique of the service and the return of service. Understand the rules of hitting a Padel Service, body position, arm travel, moment of impact, optimal ball height, return service technique, and directions and speed of the serve and return of service.
- Service and Return of Service Practice (15 minutes): Train your body position, arm travel, moment of impact, optimal ball height, and directions and speed of the serve. Learn how to return a service effectively.
- Defensive and Offensive Positioning Tactics (30 minutes): Understand correct positioning for defense and attack. Depending on the opponent’s gameplay, learn to choose between different defensive and offensive strategies. Move efficiently with your partner and anticipate your opponent’s shots.
- Stretching (10 minutes): Wind down the morning session with stretching exercises.
- Closing (5 minutes): Consolidate the morning’s learnings.
Post-Morning Activities (11:00 – 12:00):
- Shower, Change, Relax: Refresh yourself after the morning session, change into dry clothes, and take a moment to relax.
- Lunch Break: Enjoy a nourishing lunch while preparing for the afternoon.
- Tips and Tricks: Receive valuable tips and tricks along with explanations on equipment and accessories essential for Padel.
- Preparation for the Afternoon: Gear up mentally for the afternoon session.
Afternoon Session (12:00 – 14:00):
- Physical Warm-up (5 minutes): Cardiovascular exercises to activate the specific muscles needed for Padel without the ball.
- Ball Warm-up (10 minutes): Engage in parallel and cross-court rallies, volley against a volley, cross-court rallies, and cross-court rallies with low balls and lobs.
- Review of All Shots (45 minutes): Revisit and review all the shots learned during the “Intensive Midweek Padel Clinic.”
- Game with the Coach (45 minutes): Apply your skills in a game setting with the coach, incorporating all the techniques and tactics learned.
- Stretching (10 minutes): Wind down with stretching exercises.
- Closing Review and Farewell (5 minutes): Review the day’s lessons, followed by an intensive farewell for as long as you like.
